Which databases can I use in which way with PaperOffice?

PaperOffice Europe

On a local machine

PaperOffice brings by default an integrated (MariaDB10) database server which is ready to run without any additional configuration.


On a NAS (Network Attached Storage)

Most NAS devices have an integrated MySQL or MariaDB server which can directly be used by PaperOffice.


Own local Windows/Linux server

You can install MySQL or MariaDB on any server and connect to them with PaperOffice.


Dedicated Root Server on any Data Center

PaperOffice supports through the integrated Endpoint-to-Endpoint encryption the use of MySQL and MariaDB servers on remote networks.


Amazon Web Services

Similar to dedicated Root Servers, PaperOffice supports through the integrated Endpoint-to-Endpoint encryption the use of MySQL and MariaDB servers on cloud AWS.
