What should I do if the error code "# E138" is displayed?

If you receive this message, your start-up process will take longer than 20 seconds, so PaperOffice will be terminated for security reasons.

The cause for this can be different. If you have PaperOffice Plus , call the supporter assigned to you directly, he will connect to your computer via remote programm to fix your problem.

In other cases we recommend:

1. Check that your computer meets the minimum system requirements, and hardware compatibility. This problem can occur on slower systems. The exact instructions can be found here .

2. Check whether installed virus programs do not block PaperOffice. This step can be skipped if you are using Windows Defender. Instructions for compatible antivirus programs can be found here .
