Setting up the MariaDB 5 database for Synology NAS is very easy and takes place in 5 steps. Please note that this HelpDesk entry and the video explicitly apply to the database setup of the database MariaDB 5. The following video applies to the Synology NAS setup of the versions PaperOffice 2019, PaperOffice 2020 and PaperOffice 2021. The PaperOffice interface is displayed differently depending on the version, functionality remains the same as before.
