How do I create a new database locally on my PC?

The installation of a local PaperOffice database is very easy. Once PaperOffice Setup has been run and an account has been created, it must be connected to a new database. Click "Continue" in your login window. This mask will appear:

Select Express Setup, if you agree to install the PaperOffice database directly on your "C" drive. When installing the program, PaperOffice will automatically create an empty folder directly on your drive "C"/"PaperOffice database folder", in which, after clicking on the appropriate button, the database will be installed.

Follow the instructions to complete the installation.

In case, if you want to install the database on a drive other than "C" and other folder than the express, click "Start database manager".

In the next step, click on the corresponding icon with the heading "Local database".

Then select "Create new PaperOffice database"


In the next step, click with the mouse in the corresponding field "On this computer" to select the local folder path to the new database.


Please note that the selected folder path should be EMPTY and that it should NOT be an external storage medium.

Then click Check information, save and continue followed by further instructions until the database is successfully created.
